Job Summary Barton Ford in Suffolk, Virginia is
NOW HIRING
an experienced Diesel Tech who has current dealership experience working on diesel trucks. Experience working on FORD trucks is even more desired. A Diesel Tech would be responsible for performing minor and major repairs on trucks; conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes; diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs; perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks; among other duties. •Qualified candidates may be eligible for a signing bonus.• Current dealership experience and FORD certifications is desired. VSI is preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required along with the ability to pass all pre-employment testing (drug testing, criminal background check and driving record check).
