Diesel Truck Technician - Barre, VT

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic, mechanical, or electrical repair on fleet assets. Understand, practice, and maintain proficiency in equipment diagnosis, regulatory compliance (inspections), and preventive maintenance. Road-test vehicles to ensure the quality of work and vehicle performance (if holding a valid CDL). Ability to handle on-call hours and service tasks. Tire mounting Knowledge. Able to interact with drivers, customers, vendors, and other employees professionally. Assume responsibility and ownership of any project assigned, including its clean-up or other non-mechanical tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Experience:

High school diploma, vocational education degree, or equivalent. Mechanical repair experience Previous brake repair experience Ability to lift/lower 50 pounds Ability to work with others Willing to train if you have a desire to learn or similar experience.
