We specialize in all things Mack and Volvo but we also service all makes of heavy trucks for class 6-8 vehicles to help all of our customers because no matter what our customers brand, uptime is crucial. We provide bumper to bumper service and repair, including pre-planned preventative maintenance, suspensions, engine, electrical and all things technical. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, and air brake systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment, and shocks & struts replacement to maximize equipment lifespan. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues on heavy equipment like excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers. Repair and maintain farm machinery and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance across various operational sites. Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs comply with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Assist with assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems using hand tools and specialized equipment. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair. Dealership experience highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific systems. Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while working in various environmental conditions. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and other maintenance tools. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately using automotive diagnostics tools. Valid certification or experience in forklift operation, excavator or crane operation is a plus. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding repairs or maintenance needs.
