Job Description

Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic at Hogland Transfer Company in Everett, WA. We are looking for a skilled and reliable mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel trucks, ensuring they remain in top condition for safe and efficient operations.

12:30 PM - 8:30 PM Looking for extra earning potential? This role offers consistent overtime opportunities, with team members typically working 50-60 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostics and troubleshooting. Inspect and test vehicles to determine necessary repairs and maintenance. Conduct preventive maintenance, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations. Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with drivers and other team members to address any vehicle issues promptly. Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or relevant role. Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license; CDL a plus but not required. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle the job's physical demands, including lifting heavy parts and equipment. Commitment to punctuality and reliability.
