Bellair runs some of the nicest coaches on the road and pays you to keep going ... Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of MCI vehicles and Ford and Chevy mini buses. This role is essential in ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and safely. Location = Conveniently located off I-5 in Federal Way - easily accessible from Tacoma, Auburn, Kent and South Seattle. Hours = 9AM-5PM - 40 hours per week - may be requested to work weekends during the heavy charter season, and participate in a rotating on call schedule Compensation = Training = $30.00 after 90 days $32-36 DOE Placement within our pay range is determined by your qualifications at the time of hire. The more knowledge and skills you bring, the more you can make You'll handle preventive maintenance, engine and transmission diagnostics, brake systems, and electrical troubleshooting on a fleet of MCI vehicles.
Must have:
Own tools Ability to work independently Strong communications skills both written and verbal Ability to be teachable, learn new skills, and diagnose problems Skills in repairing and servicing heavy equipment engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems Maintaining accurate records Computer skills Nice to have: CDL license is a plus HVAC qualifications Familiarity with JPro or other software programs Fleet Technician Certification from an accredited program (or working towards one) Our motorcoaches and mini buses are some of the nicest vehicles driving the roads today.
