Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Quincy, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about mechanics and committed to ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet. Our fleet includes off road heavy equipment and on road equipment as well. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct inspections on vehicles to identify potential problems. Repair or replace components such as shocks, struts, and hydraulic systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and fabrication tasks. Provide tire service, including mounting, balancing, and alignment. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders. Operate forklifts as needed for moving parts and equipment. Please provide own tools necessary to perform duties & responsibilities Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel mechanics. Proficient in using electrical diagnostic tools and hand tools. Experience with hydraulic systems and their maintenance. Ability to fabricate parts or components as required for repairs. Familiarity with tire service procedures and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
