The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all vehicles are safe and operational for our crews.
Fleet includes:
trailers, pickups, small engine machines, equipment like directional drills, dozer/plow, loaders so experience in hydraulics, pumps, electrical, brakes, etc is preferred. CDL preferred to conduct diagnostic test drive. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, brake and DOT inspections. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Collaborate with team members to prioritize unit repairs and ensure timely completion while adhering to quality standards.
