Tacoma, WA Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Brake repair Maintenance Welding Machine maintenance Hydraulics Diesel engine repair Full Job Description We have an opening for a professional maintenance person to service our heavy haul fleet of tractors, container chassis', and refrigerated trailers. This position provides a competitive wage with full benefit package that includes: vacation, medical, dental, vision, and Retirement plan. The successful candidate will have a mechanical aptitude with hands on maintenance experience in the trucking or heavy equipment industry. Routine tasks include troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, braking, and mechanical power transmission systems. Periodic lubrication, tire/wheel maintenance, and some welding and fabrication tasks are an integral part of the job. Familiarization with computers and a valid CDL are pluses. We operate well maintained late model, heavy haul equipment. We are looking for a person who has at least two years' experience and is interested in growing his/her mechanical skills. Occasionally we have a need for mid-week on-call support as well.
