OVERVIEW A

The Fleet Technician is responsible for performing truck preventative maintenance and services to ensure maximum uptime for lease and rental customers. All training required for success in this position will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform PM services such as oil or fluid changes, DOT inspections, grease/lube, etc. in regular intervals and completing appropriate paperwork or business system tasks to track & follow-through. Perform truck services as needed beyond typical PMs - such as alternator/starter replacement, A/C service, light body repairs, radiator or cooling system services, brake services, etc. Ability to diagnose issues with vehicles and communicate with management or customers. Perform truck check-in or check-out procedures such as light cleanup, washing, refueling, removing decals or license plates, basic inspections of components under supervision of technicians. Ability to drive trucks or company cars between locations as needed. Complete all safety and technical training for Idealease Fleet Technicians. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid CDL required or ability to obtain one immediately. Completed High School diploma or equivalent educational experience. 3+ Years of Technician Experience, fleet or dealership Must be able to lift 75lbs and carry a distance of 5 feet. Must be able to climb a ladder (5-8 feet) and work on a platform on occasion. Periodic bending, reaching, kneeling, or working on a creeper.
