Engine work is the core of this role. We are not a general repair shop—we are a specialty heavy-duty diesel and engine diagnostics facility focused on complex, high-level work that most shops cannot resolve.

We are specifically looking for a high-level Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician with strong electrical diagnostic experience . You must be able to confidently handle advanced diesel engine systems and electrical diagnostics. No exceptions. If you cannot independently diagnose and resolve complex engine and electrical issues, this role will not be a fit. What We Do Elite Diesel Service specializes in advanced heavy-duty diesel engine repair and diagnostics, including: Class 8 and larger heavy-duty diesel engines In-frame and out-of-frame engine overhauls Full engine rebuilds and repowers ECM and advanced electrical diagnostics Chassis diagnostics and troubleshooting Engine dyno testing and performance validation High-performance and custom diesel applications, including injectors, turbos, and race engine builds You will be working alongside a master diesel technician with 40+ years of hands-on experience in the trade. Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician Responsibilities As a Diesel Engine Technician / Heavy-Duty Diesel Tech , you will: Perform in-frame engine overhauls on Class 8 trucks and larger equipment Complete out-of-frame engine rebuilds and full engine tear-downs Diagnose and repair complex electrical and ECM-related issues Follow diagnostic flow charts and electrical schematics with precision Perform cylinder head work, turbocharger and injector service, and engine component rebuilds Conduct engine and chassis dyno testing and validation Troubleshoot systems without parts swapping or guesswork Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must-Have Skills) You must have hands-on experience in ALL of the following: In-frame diesel engine rebuilds (Class 8 and heavy-duty equipment) Out-of-frame engine overhauls (complete engine disassembly and rebuild) Advanced electrical diagnostics (reading schematics, diagnostic trees, ECM troubleshooting) If you do not meet all three, this role is not the right fit. Additional Requirements 3+ years of hands-on heavy-duty diesel technician experience Strong electrical and diagnostic background (this is critical) Own hand tools required (specialty tools, diagnostics, lifts, dyno equipment provided) Valid driver's license (CDL not required) Nice to Have ASE T-Series certifications OEM or manufacturer training/certifications Welding and fabrication experience ECM tuning, programming, or dyno performance experience Compensation & Benefits $30
