Outboard Technician Mechanic

We are a growing marine dealer in search of an experienced Marine Outboard Technician. Factory training and other benefits are available to a qualified employee.

• Efficiently diagnose and repair all makes of outboard motors, boats, and electrical components
• Look up and retrieve parts as they apply to the job
• Operate and dock boats safely
• Operate shop equipment, including forklift, to maneuver boats in yard Job Requirements
• Must have tools, drivers license, and transportation to and from work
• Must have experience performing outboard and electrical repair
• Must have experience rigging and wiring boats
• Must be willing to learn new technologies and repair techniques
• Must work well with others
• Must be willing to work some weekends Desired Experience
• Technical school training and factory certifications
• Experience with Honda outboard motors
• Experience working on all makes and models of outboards
• Several years in the marine field
• Desire to work hard and be accountable in all responsibilities
• Efficient and quality diagnostic ability
