Job Description

Transmission Technician Val Ward Cadillac, a family-owned dealership with over 50 years of trusted service, is seeking a qualified and experienced Transmission Technician to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair transmission systems on a variety of vehicle makes and models Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on transmissions Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures Document repair procedures and communicate findings to service advisors Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Transmission Technician or similar role GM experience is a plus ASE Certification is a plus Strong knowledge of transmission systems and automotive repair techniques Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic equipment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Valid driver's license and clean driving record
