Street Light Technician 4BBCorp Miami Beach, FL Job Details Temporary | Full-time $23.98 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Electrical experience Power pole setting Bucket truck Hand tools Mechanical knowledge Service technician experience Full Job Description We're looking for a Street Light Technician to join our team in the City of Miami Beach. You'll be responsible for: Installing, repairing, and maintaining street lighting systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Drive and operate automotive equipment (e.g. auger truck, bucket truck). Prepare and sets foundations for light poles. Assist in concrete finishing work. Troubleshoots circuit and installs new light fixtures. Your expertise will help enhance public safety, improve nighttime visibility, and support the overall infrastructure of the city or municipality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a service technician in field service environments, preferably with electrical or lighting systems. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters including ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits. Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and understanding mechanical diagrams related to street lighting equipment. Prior experience repairing electrical equipment, performing maintenance tasks, or working with computer networking hardware is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to installing or servicing streetlight poles and fixtures is essential. Ability to work safely with low voltage electrical systems while adhering to all safety protocols.
Schedule:
Mon-Fri - 7 :00am to 3 :30pm

$23.98 per hour
