Generator Mechanic

Experience:

Mid Level Salary:

$30 - $45 per hour Job Details - Required Skills & Experience Experience working with diesel and natural gas engines, electrical switchgear, automatic transfer switches, and balance of plant equipment. Strong understanding of power generation systems, power electronics, electronic controls, and fuel systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Proactive problem-solving mindset with high responsiveness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude. Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid driver's license with ability to meet driving qualification standards, including: Preferred Qualifications Industry certification (e.g., EGSA certification). Technical degree or relevant certification. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 3+ years of field experience in electrical power generation or related industry experience.
