Chimney Technician Apprentice

Join the Chimney Bear Team Chimney Bear is seeking a motivated, positive, and dependable individual to join our team as a Chimney Technician Apprentice. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is eager to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career. No chimney experience is required. We are looking for the right attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians while learning chimney inspection, cleaning, maintenance, repair, and customer service skills.

Starting Pay Starting wage:

$20.00 per hour Opportunities for wage increases based on performance and progress Regular performance evaluations Advancement opportunities within the company Employees who demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and continued skill development will have the opportunity to advance into a Chimney Technician position. Responsibilities Assist technicians with chimney inspections, cleanings, and repairs Learn proper safety procedures and industry best practices Set up and maintain equipment and job sites Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and work area Communicate professionally with customers Follow company procedures and training requirements Perform physical labor in various weather conditions Work as part of a team while developing independent skills Qualifications Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to follow instructions and accept coaching Professional appearance and communication skills Ability to work safely and responsibly Comfortable working at heights and on ladders Ability to perform physically demanding work What We Are Looking For We can teach the trade.
