In this role, you will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, ensuring continuous power availability for mission-critical environments. Your expertise will help keep essential facilities running smoothly, providing peace of mind to clients who depend on resilient power solutions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on UPS systems, including batteries, inverters, rectifiers, and control panels. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively. Perform routine preventive maintenance to optimize system performance and extend equipment lifespan. Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to accurately diagnose system faults and implement corrective actions. Install, configure, and test UPS hardware components within various facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Collaborate with clients and team members to provide clear communication on system status, repairs needed, and maintenance schedules. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting all work performed for accountability and future reference. Requirements Proven experience in field service roles involving UPS systems or related electrical equipment. Proficiency with hand tools, schematics, computer hardware, and computer networking fundamentals. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical troubleshooting skills related to low voltage systems. Experience working with service technician tasks such as equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and system installation. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams like schematics accurately. Familiarity with testing instruments such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools essential for troubleshooting electrical circuits. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical systems in diverse environments, knowledge of low voltage wiring standards, familiarity with safety protocols for working with high-energy systems, and certification or training related to electrical or electronic servicing.
