Service Technician & Lead Service Technician - Full Time (Frederick, MD) Starting at $25/hour+ for Entry-Level Technicians Competitive Pay Based on Experience for Lead Technicians TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. is growing and hiring both Entry-Level Technicians and Lead Service Technicians for our Frederick, MD facility. We are looking for motivated, hands-on individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working with technology, and being part of a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Whether you are looking to start your technical career or bring leadership experience to a supervisory role, we encourage you to apply. Position Overview Entry-Level Technicians will work alongside experienced team members to learn equipment diagnostics, repairs, testing, and field service operations. Lead Service Technicians will perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs while providing day-to-day guidance, training, and oversight to technicians. This role serves as a working supervisor responsible for ensuring service quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test low-voltage equipment Perform quality inspections and operational testing before shipment Prepare, pack, load, unload, and store service equipment and materials Travel to customer sites for equipment service, installation, and support as needed Assist with new product development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain accurate service records and documentation Additional Responsibilities for Lead Technicians Supervise and coordinate daily activities of service technicians Train and mentor entry-level and junior technicians Assist in scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning work assignments Ensure quality standards, safety procedures, and service protocols are followed Support management with process improvements and department goals Qualifications Entry-Level Technician High school diploma or GED required Mechanical, electrical, technical, or trade school experience preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and develop technical skills Lead Service Technician High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school training preferred Several years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and testing technical equipment Prior supervisory, lead technician, or team leadership experience preferred Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members Requirements for All Candidates Must pass a mandatory background check Must be willing and able to travel as required Ability to lift and move equipment and work in a hands-on technical environment Why Join TOMI?
