About/Employment Requirements Equipment Assembly & Preparation:

Assemble new power sports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and UTVs, according to manufacturer specifications. Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure all equipment is safe, operational, and meets quality standards. Install accessories and perform customizations as requested by customers. Verify that all units are free from damage and defects prior to delivery.

Technical Service & Repairs:

Perform minor mechanical adjustments, troubleshooting, and repairs during the PDI process. Address technical issues identified during inspections or reported by other departments. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and documented accurately.

Quality Assurance:

Follow detailed checklists and manufacturer guidelines for inspections and setups. Test-drive units when necessary to confirm proper operation. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the workspace to prevent damage or contamination.

Customer Service & Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales and service teams to meet customer delivery timelines. Provide feedback to management on recurring issues or potential improvements in the setup process. Uphold a professional and customer-focused demeanor when interacting with team members or clients.

Operational Efficiency:

Maintain an inventory of tools and parts necessary for vehicle setups and PDIs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership protocols. Support the service department with additional technical tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a technician in the power sports, automotive, marine, or RV industries. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power sports vehicles and systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer proficiency to complete work orders and service records. Valid driver's license (motorcycle endorsement preferred but not required).
