Sr Tech/Sort Sys-1 Federal Express Corporation $33.00 - $43.41 USD Hourly tuition reimbursement, 401(k) United States, Jersey, ark Apr 17, 2026 Job Duties Maintains and repair all package sorting and container handling equipment; maintains all electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems in accordance with established FedEx maintenance procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High school diploma/GED Minimum Experience Four (4) years experience, of which 24 months being as a FedEx sort systems technician, or 24 months of maintenance on similar equipment/systems, as a commercial/industrial maintenance technician with background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic & materials handling systems maintenance. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must possess good working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment and procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavy sort related components, parts and equipment with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good interpersonal and oral communications skills. Ability to access equipment by crawling, laying, standing and/or climbing at all heights both above and below ground level. Job Conditions Must be willing to work odd work weeks, o/t, holidays & rotating shifts. Valid driver's license required. This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full/part-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.
