Emergency Vehicle Upfitting Technician Build Vehicles That Matter We are looking for a motivated, dependable technician to join our emergency vehicle upfitting team. We install emergency lighting, sirens, radios, consoles, computer systems, wiring, and specialty equipment into police, fire, EMS, and municipal vehicles. Experience is helpful, but it is not required. What matters most is that you show up every day, take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and care about doing the job right. What You'll Do Install emergency lighting, sirens, radios, and specialty equipment Route, terminate, and secure wiring harnesses Mount equipment and vehicle accessories Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Maintain a clean and organized work area Inspect completed work for quality and functionality Ensure vehicles meet company standards before delivery Who We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to learn Mechanically inclined Able to follow instructions and work independently Takes pride in producing clean, professional work Pays attention to detail Respects coworkers, customers, and company equipment Wants to build a career rather than simply collect a paycheck Qualifications Dependable transportation to and from work Ability to pass random drug and alcohol screenings Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to safely use hand and power tools Ability to work overtime when needed Valid driver's license required Safety is a core part of our culture. Experience (Helpful but Not Required) Experience in any of the following is a plus: Automotive electrical work Vehicle accessories Fleet maintenance Audio/video installation Mechanical repair Fabrication 12-volt electrical systems We are willing to train the right person with little or no experience if they have a strong work ethic, good attitude, and desire to learn. Compensation & Benefits $15.00 - $28.00+ per hour Pay based on experience, skill level, workmanship, productivity, and overall performance Performance-based raises Overtime opportunities available Performance bonuses for projects completed ahead of schedule while maintaining excellent workmanship Paid holidays after 30 days of employment Bi-weekly pay On-the-job training Opportunity to learn specialized skills in a growing industry Our Philosophy We can teach skills.
