Rental Shop Technician - Utility Hunton Group - 2.9 Houston, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Chiller Electrical generators Chiller plant maintenance Electrical schematic reading and interpretation High school diploma or GED Driver's License EPA Universal Certification Full Job Description Hunton Services is seeking to hire a Rentals Technician who will be responsible for the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and decommissioning of temporary rental equipment. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of maintenance experience on different Rental equipment and must be able to work in both a team setting and an individual setting with limited to no supervision. Responsibilities:
Carry out the preventative and scheduled maintenance of assets for optimized performance Maintain the levels of all required materials and ensure the appropriate tools are in place and maintained Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment Carry out effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime Safely use various hand and power tools Willingness to help train and mentor other technicians Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation daily Work in a safe manner abiding by the company policy
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a safe driving record (no violations within the past 3 years) Tech certifications and Factory training from other OEM's is a plus Must have a strong knowledge of Airside, Waterside and Controls systems
Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent 5 years' rental industry experience (chillers & generators) Able to read electrical schematics and diagrams Universal EPA refrigerant certification Must be able to obtain a TWIC card Willing to work overtime as needed Must be able to lift 60lbs or more.
