The Engine Mechanic is responsible for providing hands‑on support in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with power system equipment to ensure reliable operation. This is available as a 2-week-on/2-week-off rotational role.

DAY IN THE LIFE
Commission, inspect, and maintain engine and power systems equipment Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and test engine components to resolve power system issues Read and assemble equipment using technical prints, schematics, and power system drawings Coordinate maintenance and repairs while collaborating and cross‑training with partner departments Participate in a 24‑hour on‑call rotation and travel to field locations as required
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
5+ years of experience as an engine or power systems mechanic; diesel vocational training and additional certifications preferred Hands‑on experience with Caterpillar 3512 engines, Detroit engines, small engines, and bi‑fuel systems Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including the ability to resolve complex mechanical and hydraulic issues Resourceful, self‑motivated professional with strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, planning, and organizational skills Positive, team‑oriented communicator able to work independently with minimal supervision; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Take your career to new heights with Precision Drilling—where innovation, safety, and opportunity drive success—apply now to be part of a leading energy services team.
