Electric Motor Technician

Job Summary:

At Stewart Brothers Electric, we rebuild electric motors and pumps, as well as handling sales for all related components. We are seeking a part-time electric motor technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems, equipment repair, and mechanical knowledge. This position requires heavy lifting, the ability to be on your feet all day, and a willingness to get your hands dirty. We are looking for someone who is reliable and motivated. Experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person! If you like to learn new things and be challenged daily, this could be the job for you!

Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment repairs and maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Utilize schematics to diagnose problems
• Repair components as needed
• Operate hand, power, and air tools effectively

Skills:

The following skills are required or preferred for this position:

• Strong electrical knowledge
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
• Proficiency in equipment repair
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience as a mechanic is a plus
• Competence in using hand, power, and air tools

We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and seeking long-term employment. If you like to learn new things and be challenged daily, this could be the job for you! We are open Monday-Friday, 8-5. This position starts at 20 hours a week, with more hours available depending on performance and available work. Pay depends on experience. Raises begin at 90 days depending on performance. Paid holidays and vacation time are included. We do not offer health benefits. This position has the potential to become a full-time technician.
