Field Service Engineer -
Medical Imaging Location :
Birmingham, AL (North Alabama Territory) Are you an Imaging Field Service Engineer or Imaging BMET looking to join a company that values independence, customer service, and technical development? We're partnering with a growing medical imaging service provider seeking a Field Service Engineer to support healthcare customers throughout North Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable territory with a strong customer base and gain exposure to multiple imaging modalities over time. Why Join? Primary responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting and repairing X-ray systems Supporting PACS-related issues and connectivity Performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs Building strong customer relationships Managing service calls independently Providing professional technical support and recommendations to customers While the immediate focus is X-ray, there will be opportunities to gain exposure to: CT Mammography Cath Lab systems Travel Typically 2-4 overnight stays per month Additional travel opportunities available for engineers who are interested in supporting wider regional projects Initial training period may involve some travel to Atlanta The Ideal Candidate You'll likely be someone who: Enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems independently Has strong customer-facing communication skills Takes ownership of their territory and workload Is willing to investigate and diagnose issues before escalating Can balance a friendly approach with the confidence to manage customer expectations when needed Wants to continue developing technically Attitude, work ethic, and customer service skills are just as important as technical experience. $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
