Job Summary:
The Field Service Engineer delivers advanced technical support and service for complex systems and solutions at client sites. This individual acts as a technical expert, leading troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and repair activities while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. The role also includes contributing to process and service improvements and supports the continuous enhancement of field engineering practices. Responsibilities and Tasks (listed in bullet format) in order of priority to be successful
Perform advanced installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of company products and solutions at customer locations.
Serve as the primary technical resource for escalated field service issues and complex assignments.
Lead technical projects or initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction and logging issues into JIRA.
Identify and recommend process, product, or service improvements based on field experience.
Document service activities, technical issues, and solutions accurately using company systems.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer support teams to resolve systemic issues and improve product reliability.
Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and company offerings.
Perform daily checks of the system and quarterly preventative maintenance
Complete Field Service Reports for both corrective and preventative maintenance Education, Experience/Knowledge & License/Certification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of relevant field service experience in a technology or engineering environment.
Advanced knowledge of system installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience leading projects or technical teams preferred.
Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments. Travel/Physical Requirements
