This role is critical in providing exceptional service and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain industrial equipment effectively. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of our systems while delivering high-quality service to our customers. Responsibilities Oversee equipment operation, testing, maintenance, repair and installation Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment at client sites. Utilize tools such as voltmeters to diagnose electrical issues and ensure systems are functioning correctly. Manage parts procurement as necessary to support repairs and modifications. Operate boom lifts safely to access elevated work areas during service calls. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Document all service activities, including estimates, repairs made and parts used, invoice drafts,... in a clear and concise manner. Provide training to clients on proper equipment operation and maintenance practices. Work closely with the engineering team to report any recurring issues or potential improvements. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Engineer is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control panels. Familiarity with safety protocols related to working at heights using boom lifts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Willingness to travel for on-site service calls. PLC programming knowledge is a plus.
