We are Florida's premier distributor and one-stop-shop for the metalworking and CNC manufacturing industries. We supply high-quality CNC machinery, industrial tooling, abrasives, and cutting fluids from leading global brands. Additionally, we provide comprehensive support services, including equipment diagnostics, installation, parts replacement, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak shop performance. Job Summary Service Engineer opportunity based in Orlando, FL with a highly regarded CNC machine tool company. This is an immediate opening driven by service demand and expansion. The role is ideal for a current field service engineer or a mechanically and/or electrically inclined individual (such as a machinist or manufacturing professional) willing to learn. The position involves hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machine tools, with direct customer interaction in a supportive, family-oriented environment. Responsibilities Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machine tools, including 2-axis lathes and 3-axis mills with Fanuc controls. Mechanical replacement, alignment, and calibration of major machine subassemblies such as spindles/headstocks, ballscrews, tool turrets/posts/magazines, and servomotors. Electrical and electronic troubleshooting, including a firm grasp of basic electrical control theory and industrial electronics. Interact directly with customers onsite, serving as a liaison with the sales team and home office to escalate and resolve issues. Perform machine alignments, precision work, and occasional spindle replacements or control repairs. Requirements Strong mechanical and electrical experience with CNC Machine Tool equipment (maintenance or field service preferably). Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team. Willingness to travel within Florida, including occasional overnights (approximately 4-5 nights per month). Valid driver's license. Understanding of precision measurement concepts and the ability to use indicators effectively. Preferred Requirements Experience with Fanuc controls. Exposure to Siemens controls is a plus as the company is installing more of these. Field service experience is preferred, but relevant internal maintenance experience is acceptable. Prior CNC machine tool installation, commissioning, or repair background.
Compensation / Benefits Hourly rate:
$30-$45 per hour, depending on experience Overtime opportunities available Company van provided immediately, along with all necessary tools and equipment. Company credit card for gas, hotels, and meals. 401(k) with 3% company match. Medical insurance (company pays close to 50% of the premium). Location Based in Orlando, Florida. Candidates should live within a 75-mile radius of downtown Orlando. Territory covers much of Florida, with occasional travel outside the immediate Orlando area.
