job summary: We are seeking two high-caliber Additive Field Service Engineers to lead the deployment of our next-generation CNC and additive manufacturing systems across the Midwest and East Coast. Technical Qualifications Controls & Systems:
Proficiency with Siemens CNC controls, Beckhoff PLC and motor control, Siemens drive and servo systems, and general PLC diagnostics.
Mechanical & Fluid Power:
Expertise in mechanical troubleshooting, multi-axis diagnostics, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems; ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings.
Electrical & Laser Technology:
skills in electrical troubleshooting and repair, laser system alignment, and the ability to interpret intricate electrical schematics.
Precision Tools & Software:
High level of proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments; basic computer and software proficiency is required.
Requirements Travel Mobility:
Must be willing and able to travel approximately 90% of the time.
Location:
Must reside within reasonable proximity to a major airport in the Midwest or East Coast regions.
Experience:
Proven background in field-based service support within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication skills for customer-facing training and cross-functional coordination with factory-level engineering.
