Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Velico's innovative FrontlineODP System™.
Responsibilities Include:
Develops the protocols for the FrontlineODP System™ installation, maintenance and training of both Velico and customer personnel, as well as, on-site customer support. Works with partners to develop facilities for installation of FrontlineODP system™. Installs FrontlineODP system. Troubleshoots devices in the field, maintains documentation, and provides surface technical briefings for system operators and Velico engineers. Provides training to other Velico Field personnel. Professionally interacts and maintains effective and open communication with all personnel, vendors/manufacturers and customers. Maintains a professional and positive manner and appearance at all times. Responsible to perform all duties safely and in a manner consistent with the policies and procedures of Velico.
We are seeking individuals with:
Associate's degree in a technical or workforce development field. 2-5 years of experience in a maintenance position, preferably as a field technician. 2-5 years of experience in technical training or technical writing. Proficiency with MS Office Suites (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Competency with hand tools and construction equipment. Working knowledge of drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or SolidWorks Suite). Working knowledge of command line interface software (e.g., Linux). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Basic level with mathematical calculation and computations. Task oriented with strong organizational and attention to detail skills. Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization and with external customers and vendors. Self-directed and proven skill to work independently, as well as, part of a team. Ensures work is completed in the expected timelines and is adept at resolving competing priorities. Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and exercises appropriate judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely information. Possesses a high level of integrity and dependability. Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Process and improvement focused to implement new procedures to accommodate growth and adaptable to change priorities, as needed. Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and fosters strong working relationships and is adept at interacting with diverse groups of people. Self-motivated to work efficiently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment with a high degree of multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects/tasks meeting expected deadlines. Promotes and fosters a positive behaviour and work environment. Strong work ethic; comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company environment.
Work environment:
Required to possess a valid U.S. Driver's License for travel via car. Will require travel by car and air (both nationally and globally) 50% of the time. Interested candidates are to send their resume, cover letter and salary requirements.
