As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be at the heart of that mission—installing, maintaining, and elevating cutting‑edge microscopy systems across the Americas. If you love solving complex technical challenges, traveling, and making a direct impact on scientific progress, this role is for you. What You'll Do Own system installs & commissioning — set up advanced microscopy platforms and train users to hit the ground running. Keep systems at peak performance — deliver expert preventive and corrective maintenance. Troubleshoot like a pro — dig deep into hardware/software issues and resolve them fast, onsite or remotely. Build strong customer relationships — deliver confident communication, clear training, and dependable support. Upgrade & optimize systems — calibrate components and implement performance‑boosting enhancements. What You Bring Bachelor's in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Life Science, or similar. 3-5 years of field service experience with microscopy or analytical instruments. Skilled with multimeters, oscilloscopes, schematics, and Windows systems. Physically capable of working in tight spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license, passport, and willingness to travel Monday-Friday. Bonus Points For Hands-on experience with AFM, SEM, fluorescence, or confocal microscopy. Strong workflow understanding of imaging software and calibration. Clean, methodical work habits and a love for continuous learning.
