We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Field Service Engineer at our Poestenkill, NY site. The role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will serve as a key technical representative supporting customers across global sites. This role is critical in maintaining system performance, resolvingplex technical issues, and strengthening long-term customer relationships. You will work closely with internal engineering and production teams while delivering high-impact service in the field. This position requires a strong electrical foundation, practical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate independently in dynamic environments. Here are some of the responsibilities of the position: Commission, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites globally Perform root cause analysis on electrical systems and implement corrective actions Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose system issues Support system configuration, calibration, and final validation both in-house and onsite Partner with internal engineering teams to resolve escalated technical challenges Maintain accurate service documentation and provide technical feedback for continuous improvement Deliver high-quality customer support while managing multiple service prioritiesREQUIREMENTS
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field 3+ years of hands-on field service or technical support experience Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics independently Experience with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes; programming knowledge is a plus Willingness and ability to travel internationally Experience in aviation, battery technology, advanced manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus Exposure to 3D ing or precision equipment environments is an advantage Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in team settingsBENEFITS
Base Salary:
$70,000- $80,000 per year depending on experience.
