Job Description Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial mechanical and automated machinery at customer facilities. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and start up industrial machinery and automated equipment at customer sites Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system issues Complete service repairs and replace defective components as needed Support customers with equipment operation, technical issues, and process improvements Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation Perform machine testing, calibration, and operational verification Document service activities, repairs, and maintenance reports accurately Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support Travel to customer locations as required for service calls, installations, and scheduled maintenance Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred Experience working with industrial machinery, automation systems, or manufacturing equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Basic understanding of PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics preferred Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments Willingness to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel Preferred Skills Experience with automated manufacturing equipment Knowledge of robotics, conveyors, or material handling systems Experience performing field service or maintenance in industrial environments Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and service documentation Work Environment Industrial manufacturing and customer facility environments Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and equipment troubleshooting Travel required based on customer and project needs Company Description We are a firm focused in the STEM Talent Arena; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
