Job Duties:
The duties of Field Service Engineer 1 include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for technical service of NuFlare's E-Beam equipment installed at customer site. Duties include; Facility checks, routine maintenance and adjustments of the equipment, basic troubleshooting of equipment issues. Working with more experienced FSEs, following their direction closely in performing maintenance and repairs. Take full advantage of all on-the-job training opportunities provided, take thorough notes and demonstrate your ability to repeat procedures learned. Follow the site leader's directives and prioritization to ensure uninterrupted operation of customer's equipment and high customer satisfaction. Responsible for providing timely service in an effective and efficient manner. Coordinate with site manager as necessary. Provide On-Call/Stand-By Support as needed on a rotational basis including after normal service hours, weekends and holidays. Provide Shift coverage as required by the site service contract requirements. Travel internationally and domestically for Training and Site coverage support as requested by the service management team. Site to Site support within the US for coverage and training. Up to 2 mos. at a time. Support Logistics management by tracking, replacing, and proper ship-back procedures for spare parts. This requires lifting and moving parts which are > 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Follow and enhance when applicable, all NuFlare Service procedures including Safety, Repair, Maintenance, and Customer specific site procedures Follow all customer safety, security and cleanroom protocols at all times Customer communication
Other Requirements:
Basic familiarity with Unix Microsoft Excel, Word skills Basic knowledge of Statistics Basic understanding of Quality concepts Networking concepts Problem solving skills and desire to enhance that capability 2-5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry as a Field Service Engineer At least 1 year of experience in Statistical analysis (Required) At least 1 year of experience in Application design and support background (Required) Possession of a current passport Nice to
Have:
Japanese Language Skills Mechanical knowledge of
High Vacuum Education/Experience:
4 year degree Mechanical Eng. /Electrical Eng., or 2 Year Degree in technology field plus 2-4 years of experience in like technology.
