You will play a pivotal role in maximizing equipment uptime and operational efficiency for our clients by providing hands-on technical support and expert troubleshooting in diverse manufacturing environments. Responsibilities Execute the installation and commissioning of high-speed food processing and packaging machinery to ensure seamless operational startup. Perform comprehensive mechanical and electrical diagnostics to resolve system faults and minimize production downtime. Deliver preventative maintenance programs and system upgrades to enhance overall equipment effectiveness and reliability. Provide expert on-site training to client maintenance teams, empowering them to operate and maintain equipment effectively. Develop and maintain machine control logic using PLC and HMI platforms to meet specific automation requirements. Collaborate with internal engineering departments to identify technical improvements and provide feedback on equipment performance. Maintain accurate service documentation and site reports to ensure transparency and compliance with technical standards. Travel extensively to customer facilities across North America and internationally to deliver high-quality technical solutions. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of experience in field service roles supporting food, beverage, or packaging machinery. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints. Hands-on technical expertise with motors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, and VFDs. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on mechanical and electrical fault-finding. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time for domestic and international site assignments. Preferred Skills Direct experience with PLC systems, specifically Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms. Proven track record of delivering customer-focused automation solutions in industrial settings. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with diverse operations teams.
