Job Description
Field Service Engineer (Electromechanical)
You will play a critical role in ensuring equipment performance, supporting customers, and contributing to ongoing product improvements.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert technical support remotely and on customer sitesInstall, commission, and maintain electromechanical equipmentDeliver hands-on customer training on operation, maintenance, and troubleshootingDiagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues (including PLCs and HMIs)Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtimeMaintain accurate service records and reportsCoordinate service visits and communicate updates with customers and internal teamsManage tools and spare parts inventory for effective service deliverySupport product testing and validation with engineering and quality teamsProvide field feedback to improve product design and usabilityContribute to technical documentation (manuals, guides, procedures)Build customer relationships and identify upsell opportunitiesAbout You5+ years experience in a field service or similar technical roleStrong background in electromechanical systems or production equipmentDegree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar (or equivalent experience)Solid troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systemsSelf-motivated with excellent problem-solving and communication skillsComfortable working independently and managing workload prioritiesValid drivers license and clean driving recordAbility to travel nationally (up to 75%) and occasionally internationallyPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks

UK-based with national travel (up to 75%) + international travelAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support across a diverse product range. This is a hands-on role involving installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer training, both on-site and remotely.You will play a critical role in ensuring equipment performance, supporting customers, and contributing to ongoing product improvements.
