- Minimum Requirements
- Education + Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and technical experience in electronic systems. Experience Experience requirements vary depending on the level of the position:
- Field Service Engineer I
- + 1+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, or calibrating sophisticated analytical equipment such as SEM (https://www.
- Field Service Engineer II
- + 3+ years of hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, or calibrating complex analytical instrumentation.
- Field Service Engineer III
- + 5+ years of experience supporting sophisticated analytical systems with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues.
- Additional Requirements
- + Valid driver's license + Ability to travel up to 75% within assigned territory + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in laboratory environments + English proficiency required, additional languages beneficial
- Preferred Technical Experience
- + Hands-on experience with

- , or similar advanced analytical systems + Experience diagnosing and repairing ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems + Experience working with high voltage equipment + Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues to the component level + Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and system diagrams
