Job Description

Company Overview Medical Equipment Services is a small family business based in Holly Springs, NC. Our mission is to provide exceptional care for the well being of others via on-site service and support of healthcare facilities nationwide. Job Description We are seeking a reliable, self-directed professional with a proven track record of commitment and stability in previous roles. The ideal candidate thrives working independently and solving complex problems on-site with minimal supervision. Prior field service experience involving hands-on troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical equipment is strongly preferred. MES field service technicians are the face of MES and provide on-site preventative maintenance services and repair to customers. Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on medical equipment Accurately Document Testing Values on work orders and calibration tags both digitally and hard copy Provide excellent customer care through clear communication, empathy, and professionalism Timely submission of post service documentation including work orders, parts to quote, etc. Respond to service requests as needed performing diagnosis and repair Job Requirements Required Comfortable working in healthcare settings Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle suitable for extensive travel Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely maneuver equipment up to 200 lbs Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor Flexibility for regional overnight travel and occasional support in other territories Preferred 2+ years of hands-on field service experience involving troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex equipment (electro-mechanical experience is a strong plus) Background in medical equipment, HVAC, automotive service, copier/printer repair, or similar roles Knowledge of diagnostic testing, analysis, and calibration equipment Demonstrated long-term commitment and reliability in prior roles Associate degree or higher (technical field preferred)

Full-time, 1099 Contract Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $77,500 Commission on parts sales + bonuses Reimbursement for certain business expenses Monday-Friday schedule (paid bi-weekly on a per-day-worked basis) Opportunity to join a small, family-owned business where your work directly supports patient care nationwide
