Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Water Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water damage, mold, and other disasters. In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines of disaster response, utilizing your skills in cleaning, restoration, and construction to help clients recover from unexpected events. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure efficient mitigation processes, making a tangible difference in people's lives during their most challenging times. Responsibilities Respond promptly to water damage, restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement projects. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to remove water, dry structures, and perform necessary repairs. Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation to restore properties to pre-loss condition. Assist with construction-related activities such as drywall removal, minor repairs, and structural drying. Conduct inspections of affected areas to identify sources of damage and determine appropriate mitigation strategies. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including logs of equipment used and areas serviced. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling hazardous materials or working in potentially unsafe environments. Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques,mold remediation practices, and asbestos abatement is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in demolition and repair tasks. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in physically demanding situations. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for documentation and reporting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is often required; ability to operate company vehicles is preferred.
