Job Description

We're looking for a strong leader to step into a Crew Chief role —someone who can take ownership of jobs, lead a team, and deliver high-quality work without constant oversight. This is not just a technician role. As a Crew Chief, you are responsible for the job site, the team, and the customer experience. What You'll Get Competitive pay based on experience and leadership ability Bonus opportunities based on performance Company vehicle (or vehicle allowance, if applicable) Paid training & certifications (IICRC and beyond) Clear advancement path into management Full benefits package A team that expects excellence and supports each other What You'll Be Responsible For Leading crews on water, fire, and mold restoration jobs Managing job sites from start to finish (scope, execution, quality) Performing and overseeing water extraction, demo, drying, and cleanup Setting up and monitoring drying equipment and documenting progress Communicating clearly with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and management Ensuring all work meets company standards and industry guidelines Training and developing technicians on your crew Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and job documentation Who This Role Is For This role is for someone who: Takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do Can lead a team and hold others accountable Communicates clearly and professionally with customers Stays organized and keeps jobs moving efficiently Leads by example with work ethic and attitude Required Experience Previous restoration, construction, or mitigation experience Proven ability to lead a crew or manage job sites Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.) Experience with Xactimate or job documentation systems Prior leadership or supervisory experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and at heights Ability to work in demanding environments (heat, cold, moisture) Schedule Expectations Availability for on-call rotation (nights/weekends/holidays) Flexibility to work extended hours when jobs require it Why This Role Matters When someone's home or business is damaged, they're trusting you to take control and make it right.
