Certification Power tools Construction Hand tools Carpet cleaning Full Job Description Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Water Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water damage, fire, mold, and other disasters. In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines of disaster response, utilizing your skills in cleaning, restoration, and construction to help clients recover quickly and confidently. Your hands-on work will involve assessing damage, performing water extraction, mold remediation, and utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure thorough restoration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Respond promptly to water damage and fire restoration calls, assessing the scope of work needed on-site Perform water extraction using specialized equipment such as pumps and vacuums to remove excess moisture efficiently Conduct mold remediation procedures, including containment, removal, and cleaning to ensure safe indoor environments Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and minor construction tasks during restoration projects Clean and restore affected areas including carpets, walls, ceilings, and hard surfaces using industry-standard techniques Assist with asbestos abatement processes when required, following safety protocols and regulations Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress with team members and clients effectively Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and fire or mold remediation techniques Hands-on familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration tools is essential Experience with asbestos abatement procedures is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed Strong physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various environments for extended periods Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously while handling potentially hazardous materials or situations Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to restoring hope and safety for our clients!
