In this energetic role, you will be the frontline expert responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of copier and imaging equipment directly at client sites. Your technical skills and proactive approach will ensure seamless operation of vital document management systems, empowering businesses to operate efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated technician eager to deliver exceptional service in the field, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop their expertise in cutting-edge equipment. Duties Install, configure, and set up copier machines and related hardware at various client locations with precision and efficiency Perform routine maintenance and proactive inspections to prevent equipment downtime Repair mechanical components and replace parts utilizing hand tools and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts to restore optimal functionality Diagnose complex issues involving computer hardware, software applications, and network configurations related to copier systems Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to accurately identify root causes of malfunctions Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering training on device operation, and ensuring client satisfaction after each service visit Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or in a field service role specializing in copier or imaging equipment repair Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance Experience working with OEM parts and understanding OEM specifications for equipment repair Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward diagnosing issues quickly in diverse environments Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently to client sites across different locations ie OC, LA and IE Small business located in Alhambra serving the LA, OC and IE for 30+ years.
