Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician Certified Enterprises Inc Position Summary We are a commercial waste equipment solutions company seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service balers, compactors, and other waste industrial equipment. The primary functions of this position will be to diagnose, repair, perform maintenance and ensure units are fully operational and exceed customer expectations. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Travel to customer sites in a company vehicle to inspect, repair, and maintain equipment Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency breakdowns (rotating schedule) Communicate repair status to customers and internal teams Estimate labor and material costs; document work performed, and parts used Maintain clean and organized trucks, tools, and work areas Assist fellow technicians as needed Qualifications Electrical troubleshooting experience required Hydraulic system knowledge and MIG welding experience preferred Familiarity with PLCs, schematics, and industrial machinery Strong problem-solving and customer service skills Clean driving record and ability to tow/back trailers Able to work independently, lift up to 50 lbs., and commit to on-call rotation Work Environment and Physical Demands Work is performed in an outdoor administrative work setting Opportunities for growth and development are available Professional development assistance
