Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to optimize equipment performance and longevity. Utilize your HVAC/R expertise to service air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other climate control equipment. Lead on-site technical repairs with professionalism, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed, timelines, and maintenance recommendations. Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and reports for each job performed. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or refrigeration. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively. Hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across construction or industrial settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration technology is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide customers through technical solutions confidently. Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally for service calls. Preferred qualifications include experience in appliance repair or HVAC/R certifications, familiarity with schematics and electrical wiring, construction background, and strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
