IICRC Certification Full Job Description Mitigation Technician Pay Range:

What You'll Do As a Mitigation Technician, you will assist with water, fire, mold, and emergency restoration projects while maintaining high-quality workmanship, accurate documentation, and professional communication with customers, managers, and team members. Primary Responsibilities Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, contents handling, and emergency response work Set up, monitor, and remove drying and filtration equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA units, and specialty drying systems Conduct moisture inspections and document drying progress using mobile technology and job management software Install containment barriers and follow proper mold remediation and safety procedures Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, equipment logs, and daily reports Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, property managers, office staff, and team members Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean working condition Follow IICRC standards, safety protocols, and company procedures Participate in the on-call emergency response schedule Assist with warehouse, shop, and team support duties as needed Qualifications Experience in water damage restoration, fire cleanup, mold remediation, construction, or demolition Experience with moisture mapping, structural drying, and restoration equipment Understanding of insurance restoration processes preferred OSHA certification and/or IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT, or FSRT preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly Comfortable working in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and varying jobsite conditions Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs as needed Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills Ability to use smartphones, apps, and job documentation software Positive attitude, strong work ethic, dependable transportation, and punctuality Why Work With Clean Earth Restorations?
