Built by a team with deep experience in automotive, consumer technology, and electrification, Pebble combines advanced vehicle systems, thoughtful design, and sustainable living into a travel trailer experience that removes many of the frustrations RV owners have dealt with for decades. We believe your home should be able to go wherever life takes you. Pebble blends the comfort of home, the freedom of the road, and the independence of off-grid living into something practical, beautiful, and easy to use. If building the future of mobile living excites you, we'd love to meet you. About the Role As a Pebble Field Service Technician , you will be part of the team that brings Pebble service directly to owners, vehicles in development, and the teams building our all-electric travel trailer platform. You will work closely with Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Support to resolve vehicle concerns, support field repairs, improve service procedures, and help build the foundation for a scalable service operation. The right person is comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, thermal, plumbing, body, and customer-facing environments. You do not need to know every system on day one, but you do need to be curious, resourceful, disciplined, and comfortable solving problems in the field. What You'll Do Diagnose, service, and repair Pebble vehicle systems, including EV powertrain components, low-voltage electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, suspension, braking, closures, glazing, interior panels, exterior body panels, and related vehicle systems. Perform vehicle inspections, pre-delivery inspections, delivery prep, rework, and post-delivery service support. Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, thermal, and software-adjacent concerns using diagnostic tools, wiring schematics, service information, and engineering support. Support prototype builds, engineering modifications, validation testing, and vehicle improvement activities. Document repair findings, diagnostic steps, corrective actions, parts used, and repair outcomes clearly and accurately. Help develop and improve service procedures, repair instructions, diagnostic workflows, and field feedback loops. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, and Customer Support to identify recurring issues and improve vehicle quality, serviceability, and owner experience. Provide professional, customer-facing support when performing repairs on delivered vehicles. Travel up to 75% to support vehicles in the field, customer locations, testing sites, events, and Pebble facilities. What We're Looking For 2+ years of hands-on automotive, EV, RV, marine, powersports, or related technical repair experience. Strong diagnostic ability across electrical, mechanical, and vehicle systems. Comfortable troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems, wiring, sensors, connectors, modules, and control systems. Experience reading wiring schematics, service manuals, process flow diagrams, technical drawings, or CAD-related documentation. Hands-on experience with EVs, hybrids, RVs, trailers, HVAC, plumbing, or off-grid electrical systems is highly desirable. Comfortable using diagnostic equipment, multimeters, scan tools, hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication or repair equipment. Ability to work independently in the field while knowing when to escalate to Engineering, Service leadership, or Quality. Strong written documentation skills and attention to detail. Professional communication style and ability to support customers directly when needed. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment where systems are still being built. Willing and able to travel up to 75%. Bonus Experience ASE certifications.
