teJob Overview Join our dynamic team as a Wheelchair Technician and become a vital part of enhancing mobility and independence for individuals in need. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and customizing wheelchairs and related mobility equipment, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal performance. Your expertise will directly impact clients' quality of life by delivering reliable, high-quality service through technical skill and compassionate care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical knowledge and field service experience make a real difference. Duties Diagnose mechanical issues on various wheelchair models using schematics and technical manuals Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, and calibrations to meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards Utilize hand tools and computer hardware to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mobility devices efficiently Conduct routine maintenance on wheelchairs to ensure longevity and optimal functioning Interpret OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards Maintain accurate records of service activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software Provide field service support by traveling to client locations for on-site repairs or assessments Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance Familiarity with OEM parts, schematics, calibration procedures, and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) standards Experience working in field service environments delivering timely solutions directly at customer sites Skilled in using hand tools, computer hardware, and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting Ability to read technical schematics and follow detailed repair procedures accurately Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients and team members Prior experience with CMMS systems or similar maintenance management tools is preferred Prior experience with Custom Rehab Technology (CRT) Embark on a rewarding career where your technical expertise transforms lives.
