You will travel to install the machines, train our customers, perform preventive maintenance & provide technical support to customers in the USA, Canada, Mexico & Caribbean. Position Responsibilities Perform machine installation, preventive maintenance & training at the customer site. Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose & resolve customer/equipment issues. Maintain a high degree of professional customer service for all customer interactions. Traveling up to 70% of the time by flight/car (for international travel a passport is required). When not traveling, provide technical remote support to customers. Attend shows and exhibitions if required, as technical support for installation of machines. Educational and Skills Requirements Associate degree, certification, trade school diploma or equivalent experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation/Automotive (mechatronics). High school diploma required. 2+years of hands-on electromechanical maintenance experience. 2+years of working knowledge of modern CNC machinery. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic components and power tools in the CNC industry. Ability to learn and understand mechatronics systems. Ability to read blueprints & schematic diagrams, knowledge of PLC's and C++ concepts. Spanish language skills are a plus but not required for this position. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company standards for vehicle insurance eligibility. Physical Requirements Requires frequent lifting and carrying of up to 10 pounds, recurrent lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 50 or more pounds. Also requires constant pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds and occasional pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices. Why Work for Us?
