California (early February) Position Overview JC Axis, LLC is seeking Field Services Technicians to support a large-scale, time-bound healthcare technology deployment project. This role focuses on on-site upgrades of Windows 10 operating systems on designated medical equipment at hospitals and physician offices. Work is performed in regulated healthcare environments with strict access windows and procedural requirements. This is a project-based, temporary role with mandatory pre-deployment training followed by immediate field assignments. Mandatory Training Requirement Mandatory in-person training will be conducted during the June 8th - June 12th at a designated location in California . Attendance at training is a condition of employment . Training time is compensable and will be paid at the employee's regular hourly rate. Required travel time associated with the training will be handled in accordance with Company travel and time policies. Following completion of training, employees will immediately begin field work in their assigned geographic regions. Failure to attend or complete mandatory training may result in termination of employment. Key Responsibilities On-Site Technical Work Travel to assigned hospitals and medical offices within the designated region Perform Windows 10 operating system upgrades on approved medical equipment Follow defined technical procedures, client requirements, and site-specific protocols Verify successful completion and basic functionality post-upgrade Field Operations & Coordination Report to assigned sites at scheduled times based on hospital availability Communicate status updates, delays, or access issues to the Project Coordinator Complete required documentation related to site visits and work performed Compliance & Professional Conduct Adhere to all healthcare facility rules, including security, safety, and confidentiality requirements Maintain professional conduct when interacting with healthcare staff and site personnel Protect client systems, credentials, and sensitive information at all times Required Qualifications Prior experience in field service, desktop support, or IT technician roles Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic troubleshooting Ability to work independently in on-site environments Reliable transportation and ability to travel Strong attention to detail and procedural compliance Professional communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments Experience supporting large-scale technology rollouts Familiarity with ticketing or work order systems Work Schedule & Timekeeping This is an hourly, non-exempt position Work hours vary based on: Hospital access windows Training schedules Project demands Overtime may occur and will be paid in accordance with applicable law All hours worked, including compensable travel time, must be accurately recorded using the Company's time tracking system Travel Requirements Travel to client sites is required Travel to and from mandatory training in California is required Travel between client sites during the workday is compensable Commuting from home to the first site and from the last site home is not compensable Overnight travel may be required Employment Terms Employment is at will Employment is project-based and temporary No guarantee of continued employment beyond the project No benefits unless explicitly stated in the offer letterJob Types:
