Job Description

Position Summary Najera Environmental Inc. dba 1 Stop Restoration is seeking an experienced First Responder / Lead Technician to join our growing team. This leadership position is responsible for responding to emergency property damage losses, leading restoration crews in the field, and ensuring mitigation projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in water damage restoration and lead mitigation , possess strong leadership skills, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service during emergency situations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Respond to emergency water, fire, mold, and environmental mitigation losses. Lead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial projects. Perform and oversee water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and moisture monitoring. Perform lead-safe work practices in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. Set up containment areas, negative air machines, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and drying equipment. Read and interpret moisture readings and document drying progress. Complete detailed job documentation, including daily reports, photos, sketches, and equipment logs. Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and project managers. Train and mentor new technicians on proper restoration procedures and safety requirements. Ensure all work is completed according to company policies, OSHA regulations, and IICRC standards. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and inventory. Participate in the on-call emergency response rotation. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and crawling. Work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions. Wear respirators and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Requirements Experience in Lead Mitigation & Water Damage Restoration Valid Driver License Clean, Driving record &

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
