HVAC Chiller Field Service Specialist — Commercial & Industrial Odyssey Precision Tradecraft Denver, CO Job Details $45 - $55 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Blueprint reading Refrigeration HVAC system repair Full Job Description About the role Based in Denver, CO, you'll be the go-to expert ensuring complex chiller systems run at peak performance and efficiency. You'll move from installation to diagnostics to repair with confidence, collaborating with a supportive team and keeping customers informed every step of the way. A day in the life Your morning might start with a planned maintenance visit to fine-tune a commercial chiller, followed by a troubleshooting call where you pinpoint an electrical fault and return the system to optimal operation. In the afternoon, you could be installing components on a new unit, running performance tests, and capturing accurate service notes before debriefing with teammates to line up the next project. What you'll handle Perform preventive maintenance and on-the-spot troubleshooting for chiller systems. Diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC chiller equipment. Install new chiller systems and critical components as needed. Execute system performance tests and analyze results to drive improvements. Document all services, repairs, and recommendations with precision. Coordinate with colleagues to complete work orders and projects on time. Deliver clear, professional updates to customers on system status and next steps. Keep current with evolving HVAC technologies and best practices. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical certification preferred. 3+ years of hands-on HVAC chiller service and repair experience. Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals with emphasis on chiller operation and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Sharp troubleshooting ability and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. EPA certification is a plus.
